He earned his bachelor's degree at Augsburg College in Minneapolis in accounting and finance and his master's degree at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Prior to joining Allina Health, she was the Regional Compliance Officer at Ascension, leading, developing and evolving the compliance function. Prior to this role, Sarah held leadership positions at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare as the Vice President, Corporate Compliance and Columbia St. Mary’s as Director, Risk and Compliance. As Chief Risk Officer, Sarah Kleaveland Kupczak provides overall direction for the Allina Health Compliance, Privacy, Audit, Enterprise Risk Management and Human Research Projection Programs. She has the responsibility to set the overall strategic direction for Allina Health, ensuring the organization delivers exceptional care and supports the health and well-being of all those served.
